Slit Symmetry
For my class Illustration Design Lab, part of our homework was to look at a fine artist and take an aspect of a piece of theirs and interpret it into an illustration. The piece I looked at for inspiration was a woven matt splattered with red liquid.

Moulin Rouge
In my class Color and Story we are reinventing the story Moulin Rouge. Our assignment is to take the story and develop a new version of it with a twist. I chose to do the characters as bird people set in an art nouveau tree world. These are my first go at designing Satine and Christian.
Vikings
This is a project for a class I had last term, Inventive Costumed Drawing. The assignment was to design a viking crew. I chose to do pinup shield maidens.
Unconventional Mermaids
I was cleaning up my computer and I found some stuff from a class I took last term, Inventive Drawing. Our final for the assignment was to create several species of unconventional mermaids (i.e. not just your typical fish tail) and put them together in a scene.
