Surreal

This is the first in part two of my dream/nightmare series, titled Surreal.  The idea behind it was an escape to a more peaceful, beautiful, surreal world where very little was concrete or binding.  

I used FW acrylic ink over a tight pencil sketch, and used a blend of watercolor pencil and ink wash for the skin.  

Numbers

This is an 11x14" piece about the beauty industry and its preoccupation with numbers.  Most beauty companies target either the persons weight or how young they look.  Whether it's the ticking of a clock or the markings on a measuring tape, many women feel in one way or another trapped by numbers at times.  This piece is meant to reflect that.

Lionel Messi

This is an 8x10" painting of Lionel Messi done in FW acrylic ink.  It was done for a friend of mine, who is a fan.
